Other Ways to Give

December 2, 2025, Martinez, CA – Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa (BGCCC), a nonprofit youth services group providing after-school voluntary activities for young people through clubhouses across Contra Costa County, named Julee Winterbourne Director of Development & Community Engagement for Contra Costa County. Part of an ongoing commitment to invest in the needs of this growing region, in May, BGCCC merged with Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley, adding new resources and services to youth in the community.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Julee to the Boys & Girls Clubs team,” said BGCSV Chief Development Officer Machelle Locsin. “Her passion for supporting youth and strengthening communities shines through in everything she does, and I know she will be a wonderful ambassador for our mission.”

In this role, Winterbourne will help deepen the Boys & Girls Clubs presence in Contra Costa County, grow local partnerships, and work alongside staff, board members, and community champions to expand access and opportunity for young people. This includes special events, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.

“Every investment in people and community is an opportunity to transform lives,” said Winterbourne. “Building trust takes time and intentional engagement. I look forward to developing real human connections and relationships that can strengthen our organization and positively impact the communities around us.”

Winterbourne is an East Bay native with more than 15 years of experience in fundraising, event leadership, and community engagement work. Most recently, she was Director of Community Engagement for For the Love of Cups, a breast cancer nonprofit organization. Winterbourne has deep experience in bringing people together around shared purpose, building genuine relationships, and activating partnerships. She lives in the East Bay with her beloved dog, Big Stella.

THANK

YOU

Give the gift of knowledge & experience. Your support helps Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa provide year-round fun, safe and enriching programs through our Mini-Clubs.

Sports Development has a new Tumbling Program, helping to provide paths to healthier lifestyles. In the Career Club, we are changing the lives of tomorrow's young leaders by introducing them to career options they never knew possible. In the Martinez Community Garden, our Art Club is learning hands on techniques from our partner, New Leaf Collaborative. New Leaf Collaborative is also giving members the opportunity to learn the principles of basic rocket propulsion by teaching our members how to make Stomp Rockets.

We are asking for your contributions to contribute to these clubs. Donate today - whether a one time contribution or a recurring amount, all donations large and small help contribute to this enrichment.
