The Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa is thrilled to announce it has been awarded $19,895.14 through the 2025 Ross Stores Inc. In-Store Fundraiser. This incredible support comes through the national partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and Ross Stores, with Ross proudly serving as the national sponsor of BGCA’s Power Hour program.
Themed “Help Local Kids Thrive,” the 2025 in-store campaign invited Ross customers to join in supporting their local communities — and thanks to their generosity, nearly $20,000 will now go directly toward empowering youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa. These funds will specifically strengthen the Power Hour program at the local clubs, helping young people achieve academic success through dedicated homework help and tutoring.
“We are deeply grateful to Ross Stores and their amazing local teams at stores across Contra Costa County for their ongoing support and belief in our mission,” said Jose Marquez, Regional Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa. Many Ross stores contributed including locations in Walnut Creek, Pittsburg, New Hilltop, Pleasant Hill, Clayton, San Pablo, and El Cerrito.
